CQC regulate home care provider’s and will inspect and rate all provider in the following areas:

If the service is

• Safe

• Effective

• Caring

• Responsive

• Well-led

There are four different ratings which are as follows:

• Overall Outstanding

• Good

• Requires Improvement

• Inadequate

If you search CQC, Home Care Services in the area you require care (example Home care Bewdley or the postcode of area), the search will provide you with a list of home care providers, it will include: their ratings, you will be granted access to their inspection report and older reports to download, information about who's responsible for running the service, contact details for the service.

TLC Care at Home were inspected in 2019 and rated ‘Overall Outstanding’ this rating puts TLC in the top 2% of provider in England.

All TLC Care staff are fully trained, initial training will begin in our training facility, starting with an induction and followed by a 3-day training period. Training will continue with all delegates working towards completing their Care Certificate during the first 3-months of their employment.

A vast number of TLC staff have their Level 2 and 3, many have trained with us through local colleges and remote training providers, some staff have joined TLC and have already achieved these qualifications. Our management team have Level 5 and come with a vast knowledge of all aspects of Health and Social Care.

At TLC we have our own training company called WCTS. Our accredited training team will mentor delegates in Medication, First Aid, Moving and Handling, Safeguarding, Health and Safety, Fire Safety, Infection Control. GDPR. We support our staff with distance learning in areas such as Dementia, Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health, Complex Care, End of Life and many other areas.

It is compulsory for Home Care providers to be insured, a copy of insurance is displayed at our office at Compass House, 58 Load Street, Bewdley DY12 2AP, copy can be sent upon request.

TLC Care at Home are registered with CQC and assessed as ‘Overall Outstanding’.

TLC Care at Home provide care in Kidderminster, Stourport, Bewdley, Far Forest, Cleobury Mortimer, Tenbury Wells and surrounding areas. Please call us to check our availability in your area.

This will depend on your needs and your requirement and can differ depending on what type of care you have. With Live-in care it can be one or two staff members, for 4 calls a day (visiting care) we usually operate a team of 2 – 4 staff. TLC will always try to maintain regular carers to provide the best care possible support for you.

TLC Care at Home provide support in the home or the community for people with Mental Health, Dementia, Learning Disabilities, Acquired Brain Injury, MND, MS, Palliatives Care and Complex Care.
